Need to Rehome a Cat or Kitten?
Sometimes life gives you lemons, but it can also give you kittens – and you might find yourself needing to find a new home for your new little fluffballs. As a classified ads website for cats and kittens, we take the safety and well-being of all animals very seriously. We aim to follow the PAAG (Pet Advertising Advisory Group) standards for online classified advertising websites. If you will be using this site to post any ads, please take some time to read the FAQs and Terms and Conditions.
FAQs
Yes, it’s free to post an ad for your cat or kitten to be rehomed or adopted.
While we only ask for a username on registration, knowing the name of someone who is rehoming a cat or kitten can make the process much more personal for those looking to adopt.
If you would prefer to use your real name (whether it's your full name or just your first name) on your profile and your listings, you can do this in the My Account area.
Your phone number is required so that people can text or call you about your listing.
It won't be shown until someone clicks "Show Phone No" against your listing.
No, this is not permitted as part of our Terms and Conditions. You can only post ads for cats or kittens to be rehomed or adopted.
Yes. Creating an account allows you to “favourite” an ad. When you sign in, your favourites can be viewed under My Account > Favourites.
Click the “My Account” icon at the top right of the page and then click “My Listings”.
To view the stats (views) on each listing, you will need to enter the listing details.
It may be tempting to advertise “free to a good home”, but asking for even a small amount of money can help to ensure that your cat or kitten does go to a good home. In some appalling cases, animals given away for free have been used as food and live bait.
This is why we have imposed a minimum cost of £20 for each listing, however if you are rehoming a kitten, consider asking for an amount that will help recuperate some or all of your costs of raising the kitten thus far such as vet bills and kitten food. Or, if you are rehoming an older cat, you may wish to give any money you receive to your local animal rescue centre. It’s completely up to you.
